The Artery Peer Support Group Terms and Conditions

The Artery is a peer support programme that brings together the best from the creative, business and cultural sectors so your creative business/practice can thrive.

The initial programme comprises six workshops, designed for creative business owners/self-employed working in the creative or culture sectors. It is

      • A space for creatives to work on rather than in the business

      • A forum to discuss and resolve business challenges

      • A space to try out new ideas

      • A place to share success

      • A place of connection

      • A place for support and gentle challenge.

The Artery Peer Support Programme thrives because of the breadth and depth of experience of its participants and their collective commitment to support each other. To maximise the experience for yourself and others the programme requires that each participant commits to:

    1. Attend every session, completing the full programme, wherever possible.

    2. Respect the ground rules adopted by the group. These start with respect, gentle challenge, and absolute confidentiality when discussing our businesses.

    3. Be respectful to the facilitator and other participants

    4. Focus exclusively on the sessions whilst they are in progress and refrain from undertaking work or checking emails in the background.

    5. Speak openly, honestly and be prepared to be challenged.

    6. Contribute within the Action Learning framework outlined by the facilitator.

    7. Engage with the reflective nature of the Action Learning methodology.

    8. Take the action agreed during the session and share the learning with the group at the following session.

    9. Complete all participant surveys as directed by the group facilitator or other programme representatives.

    10. Should they arise, flag conflicts of interest to the facilitator.

We would like to photograph some sessions with the agreement of the group. The facilitator will bring photo consent forms to the first workshop. It is entirely your decision if you wish to be photographed or not.

By signing up to The Artery Peer Support Programme you agree to the above, and understand that the information and support given does not constitute business advice.

While every attempt is made to ensure that all support is appropriate and tailored to the needs of the individual, Action Learning and coaching is focused on participants finding their own solutions to challenges. Undertaking actions because of the sessions is at your own risk.

The Artery Peer Support Programmes are offered free of charge to participants if funding is secured. Ongoing programmes may incur costs which will be agreed with the group on a case by case basis.

Any ongoing projects that emerge from The Artery Peer Support Programme are subject to our Working with us agreements and governed by our client contracts.
