Take Flight, developed for Aviation Heritage Lincolnshire, is aimed at teachers and young people at Key Stages 1,2 and 3. It offers activities in English, maths, history, science, design technology and art and design to support educational visits.
Lincolnshire’s great aviation history is a rich area for schools to explore. In the Second World War the county was home to 46 military airfields, 80,000 RAF personnel and 1,000 aircraft.
Take Flight was created by Innovate Educate to provide an overarching education resource for nine very different aviation heritage venues in Lincolnshire. We focus on three main themes: Bomber Command, the Home Front and the Science of Aviation.
Innovate Educate has successfully produced one of the country’s most comprehensive web-based, aviation-related education packs to the highest standard, and on time. Our client base has been mightily impressed with IE’s research, content and overall quality.
